My work is an intersection of precision graphic design with raw, tactile abstraction. The integration of linear geometric elements with physical materials like wood, wire, and canvas creates a distinct structural tension of creation and destruction. Using paint, raw canvas, wood and found materials I explore the freedom and fun involved in the creative process of building each piece as much as painting it.
